This is a live online individual training for people who wish to host, facilitate & dj Ecstatic dance!

ECSTATIC DANCE
Ecstatic dance is a free-form dance, where dancers surrender to the various rhythms of music, allowing their bodies to express whatever needs to be expressed and to go into the states of joy and ecstasy.

IN THIS TRAINING YOU WILL LEARN ALL THE DJ SKILLS YOU NEED FOR ECSTATIC DANCE SESSIONS:
✔ How to set up the Dj software (Traktor) & all you need to know about its settings, interface and creative potential
✔ You will learn the basic musical theory to understand the logic & principals of dj mixing
✔ You will learn to mix your songs using bars, musical phrases and sections
✔ You will learn all you need about beatgridding and how to beatgrid difficult songs
✔ You will learn where to put your cue points, how to use loops to make your transitions sound amazing
✔ You will learn how to do EQ mixing using the highs, mids and lows for the smooth music blending
✔ You will learn about the FX effects and how to use them creatively in mixing
✔ You will learn to creatively mix different genres & styles
✔ You will learn about the creative potentials of Remix decks and how to use them

Hi there! We are Alexey & Anouchka
For the last 8 years we’ve been teaching and facilitating workshops and classes for inner growth, and dance & music have always been a big and important part in our work! That’s where we discovered the healing potential of being in the body and allowing it to express, move and release the energy freely through dance! Eventually dance transitioned from being an element of our workshops into separete sessions of Ecstatic dance, which continues to be highly successful among the participants until now!
Today we are running our Center for Spiritual growth and Human connection – “Umaya” – in Dharamshala, India and Ecstatic dance is one of the offerings that keeps gathering big crowds, brings a lot of joy, fun and release to all involved!
Alexey Nechaev
We’ve created this training to teach you not only how to be a good Ecstatic dance dj and create beautiful music sets and mixes, but also to share our personal tools and finds, that make it easy to give Ecstatic dance sessions, while also being engaged in other activities or projects!
While Alexey will be teaching all the technical skills necessary for djing, sourcing music & organizing yourself, Anouchka will bring the knowledge, necessary to create the space of Ecstatic dance and teach you fun engaging exercises to open and close the space!
