What is worry?! It likely to consist of the feelings in the body and some ray of thoughts. It is a manifestation of fear. We fear a certain outcome or a possibility and give in to the feelings and thoughts that come with it.
⠀
Now what are the possible reactions to a worry:
⠀
1) Looking for solutions to ensure the outcome we want and making necessary actions.
(Can be reasonable and done in relaxed way, or unreasonable, agitated and driven by the worry itself)
⠀
2) Freaking out, worrying and giving into the feelings of fear and thoughts and compulsive actions coming from it.
⠀
3) Trusting the situation, giving into the feeling of trust and thoughts and actions coming from it.
⠀
4) Allowing the feelings of worry to be, but consciously switching the mind to the trustful thoughts and attitudes.
⠀
All the time we are making a choice. If we are aware of our agitation and the fear behind it, and can face it as a possible outcome, then we can let go of the worry with more ease and switch our attention to trust. If we are unaware – we likely to unconsciously act out of our worry.
⠀
Now, If in our life we cultivate the vision that everything depends only on us, on our actions and vision of what has to happen or not, then we need to be always tensed and controlling, trying to make sure and force things to happen in the way we want. We will tend to worry and react to those worries in an agitated way – making compulsive actions, thus losing our energy and resources.
⠀
Also If in our life we cultivate a vision, that there is a higher intelligence and life and ourselves are guided by a benign force, if we keep the intention and try to be sensitive and aligned with this intelligence, then we can more relax about certain outcomes and take a trustful attitude with more ease, thus saving the energy and resources for the future constructive actions.
